The NetBiter® webSCADA WS200 is a single-box solution that gives remote web based access to serial devices over GSM/GPRS, Ethernet LAN and Internet.

The WS200 is suitable for wireless communication using mobile networks (GSM/GPRS) and also to be used in a building or factory for example to give web based monitoring and control of remote equipment by benefitting of the Ethernet LAN.

It also support a external GPS receiver which makes it possible to use it for applications where the geographical position is important, like for rental fleets of machines etc.

The WS200 has a built-in web server that is used for all configuration and data presentation through normal web browsers. No extra Windows tools or HTML editors are needed.

Data logging to onboard FLASH and web based visualization of historical data on trend graphs. Useful to detect early warnings of malfunctioning equipment. The parameters to be logged can easily be selected by the user on the built-in web pages in the product.
To enable long-term storage the log files can be configured to automatically be sent over the Internet to netbiter.net data site. The files asre sent when the buffer is full or regulary like once a day/week etc.




Alarms and events can easily be configured on the web pages to be sent by email, SMS, SNMP and Modbus TCP. Configuration of alarm conditions and whom to send the alarm is configured through the onboard web pages. All events are stored in an alarm list.
All alarm information can be forwarded to the online management server netbiter.net.
The built-in SNMP function bridges Modbus data to SNMP traps (alarms) to be collected by an SNMP manager. There is a SNMP MIB configuration file available at the support section.



The WS200 gives the user the possibility to easily read and write data to the remote equipment. Through a special template system the configuration is easy and the user can choose what data to appear on the on board web pages.



The WS200 contains a transparent gateway between Modbus RTU (Serial) and Modbus TCP (Ethernet). This feature is useful when connecting serial Modbus devices to supervisory SCADA tools or Ethernet based PLC’s using the LAN in the building. The SCADA tools will be able to access any Modbus data at the remote site usig Ethernet LAN cabling. This can be done in parallel with browsing the built-in web pages.

There are device templates for NetBiter webSCADA WS200 that will make it even easier to configure it for your application.

A template describes the Modbus equipment connected to the NetBiter webSCADA WS200. Upload the template, set the Modbus address and you will immediately be able to show value, write to registers, trig alarms and log parameters. You don’t have to know the actual register address, just select from a drop down box the parameter that should be used.
