Serial (4096 SNVT's) overview
The LiteConnector LonWorks MIP is a Gateway that converts serial application protocols to LonWorks. The module is based on a full MIP implementation with a NEURON handling the lower protocol levels and a host processor that handles upper levels and the application.The Gateway is very powerful with support for up to 4096 Network Variables (SNVT's).
The LonWorks physical interface is Free topology transceiver (TP/FT), the most common LonWorks transceiver on the market.
The Gateway can be equipped with a custom application program to suit a specific application.
Connecting to a LonWorks network
- Standard LonWorks connection (TP/FT 78kbps)
- Your serial protocol - SLAVE or MASTER (on the serial port, RS232, RS485)
